Fenceline Hat & Mittens
Featured in this book with a matching beanie-style hat, this mitten design represents knitting inspired by the American West. Done in Fair Isle style stranding technique- worsted wt. yarn, no long floats & no more than 2 colors per round.
The easy “peerie type” designs in this project are cousins to the Fenceline Sock in Anne’s Happy Trails Socks Book, and are also based on a vintage barbed wire collection from a cowboy museum in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
