Yarn Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok (100% highland wool; 123 yd (112 m)/1¾ oz (50 g)): #1305 October sky, 18 (19, 21, 23, 25) skeins.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 60” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); waste yarn; tapestry needle; seven 1” buttons.

Gauge 22 sts and 34 rnds = 4” in St st; 28 sts and 34 rows = 4” in Cable patt; one 8-st cable panel = 1¼“ wide.

• This cardigan is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
