Welcome to Interweave Knits Spring 2019! We’ve curated a collection of 16 art–inspired designs for spring knitting. One collection of projects focuses on floral knits inspired by the Impressionist movement, and the other is filled with casual knits, perfect for weekends at the local farmer’s market. Interweave Knits Spring 2019 has garments and accessories knit with beautiful yarns and popular knitting techniques. For articles, fiber expert Amy Tyler talks wool-blend yarns and the differences between them; Interweave project editor Joni Coniglio takes us on a guided tour of knitting increases; and the Knitting Monk, Brother Aidan of the Holy Cross Monestary, examines craft as contemplation.
