Fireside Lace Set
Soft-edged leaves of lace paired with simple ridges of Garter stitch make for an amazing fabric for a hat and scarf set. Luxuriously oversized and worked in DK-weight yarn, you’re ready for winter weather all day long.

Hat: 17 ½ (19 1⁄4, 20 ¾)“ / 44.5 (49, 52.5) cm circumference, 8 ¼” / 21 cm height 
A negative ease of 1-2” / 2.5-5 cm is recommended.

Scarf: 13 ½“ / 34.5 cm wide, 50” / 127 cm long

Hat: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash DK in Cayenne (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino). Scarf: 3 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash DK in Cayenne (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino).
NEEDLES & NOTIONS 
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle 
Size 6 US / 4 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle 
Size 6 US / 4 mm set of 5 double-pointed needles 
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle
GAUGE 
20 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Log Stitch worked flat, using larger needles, after blocking 
23 sts and 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Leaf Stitch worked flat, using larger needles, after blocking 
20 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Log or Leaf Stitch worked in the rnd, using larger needles, after blocking
