This is a light, lacy cowl that has a very easy to remember lace pattern. This project is perfect for an adventurous beginner who wants to try lace for the first time, but it is also suitable for those who are advanced beginners and experienced knitters as well. This is great as a quick and easy gift or for making yourself something nice with that small skein of special yarn you bought! This cowl can easily be adjusted to make it longer or shorter if desired by adding multiples of eight stitches.

The pattern has both fully written out instructions and charts.

Gauge:
Gauge is 18 stitches and 29 rows per 4 inches knit in pattern (and blocked) in the round (although gauge is not terribly important for this pattern)

Blocked - 9 inches high and 42 inches around

Materials:

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn (50 grams OR 240-250 yards)
