Additional Information
FISHY SWEATER WOMEN KNITTING PATTERN
Knitting pattern for fish pattern sweater. Fishy sweater Hip Wool. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in Hip wool. When the sleeve opening is made, the front and back pieces are divided into 2 parts which are knitted separately to the specified length. Sew or knit together over the shoulders. Sleeves are knitted from the top down - stitches are knitted up in the sleeve opening on the body.
FIT
Positive ease is approximately + 15-20 cm from the chest measurement / upper width for a slightly loose fit. If your upper width measured around the chest (or widest point of the upper body) is 92 cm, size M will fit best (range of movement of 20 cm). Are you in between 2 sizes? For the pattern diagram to work, there are quite a few cm between each size. Feel free to measure the upper width of a sweater you like the fit of, if you are unsure whether to go up or down in size.
When knitting a pattern, the sweater cannot be stretched much in shape when steamed/washed. If it is between two sizes in circumference, go up a size and knit the desired sleeve and body length/correct size.
Note – correct measurements require that the knitting tension is adhered to. It is therefore important that you choose the correct needle size according to the knitting tension.
