This is a symmetrical triangular shawl starts at the top and works to the bottom edge. It it finished with a lace boarder that is knitted on avoiding a long bind off.
Because of the shape it is ideal for modifying the length.

The pattern has both written instructions and charts.

The yarn I chose is a wool and bamboo blend from Bendigo Woolen Mills and it comes in 200g balls, there is just enough bamboo to add softness and some drape. The pattern needs two balls. The yarn will substitute easily for any standard DK/ 8 ply and it would be relatively easy to substitute other weights of yarn.
