Hannah Smith
I live in Sydney, Australia and I teach Mathematics to high school students by day.
Like so many of us, I was taught to knit and crochet by my Grandma and I don’t really remember learning. I was also taught to sew by Mum and Nana and I’m comfortable with all of these techniques and with the maths that is needed for knitting and crochet.
I can crochet in “English” and “American” and I like using the diagrams and I try to include them in my patterns.
I have always been intrigued with the geometry and pattern and I think this comes through in my crochet patterns. I inherited patterns from two of my Great Grandmothers and I have ambitions for these vintage patterns.
I find that life and work gets in the way of me publishing patterns or even posting what I’m working on. I’m trying to do a better job of using Ravelry to document what I’m knitting or crocheting. I also making an effort to get the patterns that I have been developing published on Ravelry.
I’d like to thank everyone who has purchased my patterns. Please feel free to contact me if you need help.
