FLORISTRY
The Floristry blanket is a little sister of the Bukett shawl and is knit using short-row colorwork. It is framed by an i-cord edge and the main motif is a bouquet of flower buds.

The blanket begins with a provisional cast-on. This edge is later picked up to bind off using i-cord bind-off.

If you are a visual knitter and a chart lover like me, the charts are available for ­download s­eparately. They are fairly large, so I r­ecommend ­either reading them on a ­computer, or printing them on A3/US ledger or larger.

GAUGE
Ca 17 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm after light blocking in sample blanket. Gauge is not ­crucial in this project but may affect size & yardage.

SIZE
The sample blanket is ­approx 115 cm high x 82 cm wide after blocking.

YARN
Ullcentrum 2-ply, pure wool yarn ca 300 m/100g (sport weight).
Base color: 3133 Grön mörk (ca 270g)
Contrast color: 55 Sorbet (ca 50g)

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• 4 mm/US4/UK9.5 circular needles 80 cm/32”.

• Crochet needle, at least 4 mm.

• Scrap yarn for cast-on.
