Additional Information
FISHY SWEATER FLUFFY WOMEN’S KNITTING PATTERN
Knitting pattern for Fishy sweater in Fluff Mohair. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. When the sleeve opening is made, the front and back pieces are divided into 2 parts that are knitted separately to the specified length. Sew or knit together over the shoulders. Sleeves are knitted from the top down - stitches are knitted up in the sleeve opening on the body. Knitting video with explanations on YouTube and under “video”.
The sweater is originally knitted in Hip Wool. The Fluffy Fishy sweater has slightly different measurements and fit and therefore its own pattern and knitting kit.
FIT
Range of motion (positive ease) is approximately + 25-30 cm from the chest measurement / upper width for a slightly loose fit. If your upper width measured around the chest (or stomach) is 92 cm, size M will fit best (range of motion of 28 cm). Are you in between 2 sizes or unsure of the fit? In order for the pattern diagram to work, there are several cm between each size. Feel free to measure the upper width of a sweater you like the fit of, if you are unsure of the size to choose.
When knitting a pattern, the sweater cannot be stretched much in shape when steamed/washed. If it is between two sizes in circumference, go up a size and knit the desired sleeve and body length/correct size.
Note – correct measurements require that the knitting tension is adhered to. It is therefore important that you choose the correct needle size according to your knitting tension.
