Let’s play with some bright and beautiful color this summer, shall we? To design a shawl with variegated yarn can be very fun and hard especially when lace design is involved. I use a skein of solid color fingering and also a skein of variegated fingering to make this top down semi circular shawl. It is a such a easy project to make.

This beautiful lace and chevron pattern design reminds me of the beautiful ballet folklorico skirt and hence this shawl is named after it.
