Techniques used: knitting in the round
MATERIALS
YARN: 220 (450) yds / 206 (410) m, dk weight yarn; shown in:
S: Madeline Tosh DK, Tart, 1 skein
L: Madeline Tosh DK, Well Water, 2 skeins
Needles: US4/3.5mm (or size to obtain gauge,) 16 (32)”/40 (81)cm circulars; US6/4mm for BO.
Stitch marker
Yarn needle
Gauge: 24 sts & 32 rows = 4” in St. st, before blocking;
22 sts & 32 rows = 4” after blocking.
Note: Always treat your swatch like you plan to treat your finished piece. A huge variance in gauge will affect appearance and yardage.
