I design patterns for things that I want to knit and can’t find patterns for: sometimes a project, like the gingerbread mittens - couldn’t find anything with gingerbread! Sometimes for a purpose, like the Addison hat written to teach specific skills to my beginning knitting class for a couple of years. Sometimes for a yarn or by request.
