I created this design specifically for my husband, who appreciates the elegance of straightforward ribbing.
Brioche knitting holds a special place among my favorite knitting techniques due to its gorgeous ribbed texture and the creation of an exceptionally soft fabric.
Out of all the beanies I’ve knitted for my husband throughout the years, this one is his most favorite so far.

Knitting Needles:
Size 3mm (US 2.5) & 3.5mm (US 4) circular Needle, 40” (100 cm) for magic loop, or double points as preferred. Substitute size as necessary to obtain gauge.) Tapestry needle for finishing up and stitch markers.

Gauge:
3.5mm needle – 18 sts & 26 rows = 4” (10cm) in brioche stitch

Yarn Information: I have used my hand dyed DK Weight yarn. Substitute with any DK weight yarn of your choice.

• L : approx. 85gm/ 175m
• M : approx. 74gm/ 155m
• S : approx. 60gm/ 126m
