This is a super easy, entry level scarf. It is perfect for first time and beginner knitters especially if you are wanting to learn new basic techniques like picking up stitches, and knitting two stitches together!

The scarf is knit in 1 piece from the bottom up, with either circular or straight needles.

You can easily modify the pattern to make the scarf shorter or longer by knitting less rows. For a kids size, you can make the increases to half the number of stitches called for in the pattern.

Gauge is not overly important for this project - if you have a different kind of yarn you want to use that has a similar gauge and needle size, it will work just fine!

You will need:
-4 x balls We Are Knitters Meriwool
-Scissors
-Measuring tape
-5.5 mm knitting needles

Available as Ravelry download and on Lovecrafts and on etsy.
