One of the things that I value the most from my upbringing and the way my Mother taught me to knit is that I learned to be resourceful. I never felt limited by the amount or type of yarn I had available. I learnt to combine colors and threads to create an infinite variety of fabrics, colors and stripes.
For me the most important lesson has always been to make the most of my materials, and this pattern is an ode to that.
