The Galena Handbag is slouchy, it’s fun, and it’s perfect for toting around all your essentials, including a WIP! Once you make one, you won’t be able to stop. Grab a couple sets of handles, all your bulky (5 weight) yarn, and get hooking!

Materials
• Mary Maxim Marvelous Chunky (bulky weight/5) 270 yards in colorway Sweet Stuff
• 6.5 mm (K) hook
• Needle for weaving in ends
• 2 round (or oval) purse handles 5” to 6.5” in diameter

Abbreviation & Stitch Key
BL = back loop
ch(s) = chain
FL = front loop
hdc = half double crochet stitch
hdcsc2tog = half double crochet-single crochet 2 stitches together
hhdc = herringbone half double crochet stitch
hhdcslst2tog = herringbone half double crochet slip stitch 2 stitches together.
Slst(s) = slip stitch
sp(s) = space(s)
st(s) = stitch(es)
yo = yarn over

15.5” x 10” (not including handles)
