The Geneva Cape is inspired by an opened-front cloak I saw in a boutique while shopping in a town called Geneva. Although it was inexpensively made from low-priced fabric, the overall shape of the garment was what attracted me to it. My concept was to design something that kept the original’s basic shape while adding an interesting geometrical pattern into the knit fabric with a nice quality, lightweight yarn. The stranded knitting and silky yarn make the cape a lovely top layer for a sweater or long-sleeve shirt while out and about during the Fall and Winter seasons.
