This poncho, worked in the round with four-corner increases (so a 1” x 9” rectangle at neck to a 25” x 33” hem). The fingering weight, worked on size 8 needles mean that this drapes beautifully.

The sample is knit with Knit Pick’s Stroll-Fingering in Black (231 yards), Dove Heather (462 yards) and Ash (400 yards) for a total of just 1100 yards in superwash wool.

Colorwork “separators” keep the knitting interesting and the broken rib hem (done in stripes) keeps the poncho from curling.

The directions are charted and written out for this raglan-shaped poncho that knits quickly and looks stunning!

enjoy!
