Geometric Scarf
THE DESIGN
“Extra-dimensional stitches.”
In our Geometric Scarf, alternating knit and purl stitches create recurrent, graphic triangles. The ceaseless geometry seems to give this generously scaled scarf an extra dimension! Inspired by a traditional Scottish stitch, this free pattern exhibits a modern style.
We chose to knit this version of the Geometric Scarf in Blue Sky Fibers Skyland. This Dk-weight yarn takes the best of three amazing fibers and combines them into one brilliant, round, 4-ply strand. In Skyland, fine highland wool brings structure and elasticity, baby alpaca adds sumptuous drape and softness, and silk delivers luster and precise stitch definition.
