The best part for me at Christmas is hanging the decorations and my Christmas stocking. One day I will have a fireplace to hang my Christmas stocking over. But for now, if I cannot have a real fire place I will have a handmade stocking.
Giving a handmade stocking to a family member or a friend is a wonderful thing. It gives you a great sense of pride and the person you gift it to usually loves the stocking more than the presents inside.
This is a very simply pattern worked in the round with only one stitch used throughout a short description is included for US and UK terms.
