Simple stitch patterns meet bold colors! Ginchy is a seamless
scoop-neck pullover with waist shaping and a cropped
fit. It begins with the upper back knit in a classic mesh stitch,
and a quick increase row adjusts for gauge differences before
transitioning to stockinette. The upper back is placed on hold,
and stitches are picked up from the shoulders to knit the upper
front to match the back. The body is joined in the round
when the underarms are cast on, and it’s knit down with waist
shaping and a ribbed edging. Stitches are picked up from the
armholes and shaped with short rows in mesh. The sleeves
are worked straight with both short and long options. A neckband
is picked up from the body to finish the project.
