This top-down, triangular shawl is inspired by the gingerbread houses that start to appear in shops and illustrations as we approach Christmas and the depths of winter. It evokes warm and snuggly feelings, while also being a gentle knit. This shawl has a bit of a sense of fun, with its lace house motifs and icing inspired border. Wearing it while enjoying a hot drink and some gingerbread or other seasonal snack is highly recommended!

This pattern has been designed to be relatively straightforward, as we all tend to be busy and stressed enough at this time of year without our knitting starting to cause us trouble too!
