Giza is a top-down, circular yoke sweater. Gradual increases are made in the yoke up to the sleeves that will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later. This way there will be no seams.
This model is designed to be beginners friendly, or for those who for the first time want to try to knit a sweater.
The motifs of the yoke are made exclusively using the basic stitches: knit and purl. A sequence of geometric motifs, obtained by playing only on these two stitches, is followed on the yoke. The yoke is made up of a single chart that contains the increases.
The sample in the photos is knit with a precious yarn in pure cashmere that makes the garment very warm and precious.
There are instructions for 2 different sleeve lengths: short and or long. Choose the version you prefer! The length of the body is easily variable.
Giza comes in 11 sizes (from 78 to 174 cm 30.7 to 66.9“ bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

Giza è lavorato in tondo, dall’alto verso il basso,
si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. In questo modo non ci saranno cuciture.
Questo modello è pensato per essere realizzato anche da principianti, o da chi per la prima volta vuole provare a fare una maglia ai ferri. Tutti i motivi dello sprone sono realizzati esclusivamente utilizzando i punti base: diritto e rovescio.
Una sequenza di semplici motivi geometrici decora lo sprone creando una texture delicata. Nello sprone si segue un unico schema che contiene anche gli aumenti. Abbiamo utilizzato un filato pregiato in puro cashmere che rende il capo morbidissimo, molto caldo e prezioso ma anche leggero e perfetto come sotto giacca. Nel pdf trovate le istruzione per due diverse lunghezze maniche (corte e lunghe) la lunghezza del corpo è facilmente variabile. Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie (da 78 a 174 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
