During WWII the French cruiser, Gloire, was painted in bold stripes called Razzle Dazzle to confuse submarines’ targeting systems. But there’s no confusing this boldly striped pullover for anything but stunning!

Gloire begins at the center stripe and is worked out. The stripes are worked flat over the neck and shoulders then joined at the underarm and worked in the round to the cuff. The body is picked up and worked down in the round, ending in a flattering split hem. Finish with a sewn-on pocket in horizontal stripes, which can double as a gauge swatch!
