The flame stitch is the perfect foundation for these Glowing Embers Earrings. They showcase the stitch but add just enough pizzazz to make these earrings unique and fun. Holding two strands of size 20 crochet thread in any contrasting colors will give you a lovely complement to any outfit.

Materials
• Handy Hands Lizbeth (size 20) cotton crochet thread, 2 strands and 1.75mm hook
OR
• Any size thread or yarn and appropriate hook
• Small needle for weaving in ends
• 2 ear-wires
• Aleene’s Stiffen Quik or any other brand clear-drying fabric stiffening spray
• Flat-nosed jewelry pliers
