These little motifs remind me of Gnome Hats, hence the name! The pattern provides instructions for two sizes depending on how much you like Gnomes.

Description
A simple lace scarf or wrap that knits up quick. Written instructions are provided for the chart, so you may work from the chart or the written instructions. The Scarf and Wrap sizes are indicated inside the parenthesis. The sample is knit in the scarf size.

US 3/ 3.25 mm Knitting Needles, or size needed to get gauge.

Yarn
(4, 8) ounces of Teresa Ruch Designs 100% Tencel, 20 WPI Lace weight yarn. Approximately 520 yards/480 meters. Total Yardage (520 yards/480 meters, 1040 yards/960 meters).

Gauge
23 stitches and 20 rows over 4 inches in Pattern Stitch.

Finished Pattern Measurements
Scarf: 58 inches long and 10 inches wide, Wrap: 58 inches long 20 inches wide.

Special Stitches
quad yo = yarn over four times.
p2tog tbl = purl 2 together through the back loop.
