Gold Rush is a single skein shawl designed specifically for Fresh From the Cauldron’s Gold Rush yarn colorway. Working with the yarn wound as a center pull cake, the even numbered, vertical sections yeild stripes of increasing width while the odd numbered sections, worked from the center out, fade from dark to light.

The Gold Rush color way is a variegated yarn which fades into a gold gradient. If you can’t get your hands on this particular color way, or another yarn which is dyed similarly, you can alternate using a standard variegated yarn and a gradient yarn, or mini skein set, to achieve the same look.
