………………………………………
Golden Valley is named after a verse in the Woody Guthrie song, “This Land Is Your Land.”
“As I was walking that ribbon of highway,
I saw above me that endless skyway:
I saw below me that golden valley:
This land was made for you and me.”
This triangular shawl is knit from the top down using sport weight or fingering weight yarn and a long circular needle.
The pattern provides complete instructions for both the garter stitch tab cast-on and the picot bind-off. Stitch patterns are provided in charts only.
