Gradient Bandana
I’ve been obsessed with bandanas lately and wear them almost daily. So I decided I needed a knitted bandana to add to my collection. I set out to create this bandana by blending or fading mini skeins of fingering weight from my Sierra Nevada Yarn Collection but you could easily knit this using full size skeins to make a shawl size or by using scrap sock yarn in your stash. You just need to hold 2 strands together at a time and switch one color at a time as you knit to create a lovely fade or gradient.
Alternatively, this pattern also includes instructions for working the same pattern in a worsted striped version, instead of a gradient. See notes in pattern for the alternative version.
Have fun with this little project and enjoy playing with color! Happy knitting!
