A very flexible pattern that can be knit to fit toque style with a turned up brim, or slouchy, depending on desired length of the brim and the body. This pattern was inspired by the river running through the walls of the Grand Canyon creating gorgeous blues against the many colours in the walls of the canyon. The pattern has been perfectly complimented by the ingenious dye work of Ancient Arts Yarns.

The pattern is available in small, medium and large. The colourwork pattern does limit the amount of ease available in the pattern but the yarn is quite stretchy.

You will require one full skein of your main colour (shown here in Grand Canyon), and about 1/3 of a skein of the contrast colour 1 (shown here in neutral) and 1/4 of a skein for contrast colour 2 (shown here in Great Scott!). It’s a great project for busting some of those left over skeins from other projects!
