Granny's Glasses

This simple project requires just two granny squares and is perfect for beginners and for using up left over yarn. It’s a great way to display an adorable button and makes an excellent gift.
This pattern is written using both UK and US terminology and charts.
Yarn: Fiddlesticks Peppin 4 100% Australian fine superwash merino. Length: 180m Weight: 50g.
You will need about 10g of each colour.
Colours used: 421 Lilac, 435 Stone and 423 Grape.
Other Equipment
• 3mm hook (D/3)
• Darning needle
• One button approx. 2.5cm (1”) in diameter. Depending on your button choice you may need a sewing needle and thread to attach the button.
Finished size: 8.75cm (3½”) by 30cm (12”) by 17.5cm (7”).
