Grapevine Wrap
The Grapevine Wrap features a reversible cable along one side and garter stitch across the rest of the fabric. Short rows are worked in the garter-stitch section to accommodate the difference in row gauge.

Yarn Weight 4
Finished Size 58½“ long and 23” wide.
Yarn Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok (100% fine highland wool; 123 yd 112 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #1307 Pressed Grapes, 10 balls.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); removable m; cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge 18 sts and 34 rows = 4” in garter st.

This reversible wrap is worked back and forth in rows from end to end.

After completing Rows 6 and 12 of the cable pattern, two short-rows are worked across only the garter section: 16 garter rows correspond to 12 chart rows. These extra short rows are used to adjust for the difference in row gauge between the cable pattern and garter stitch.

A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Slip stitches purlwise with yarn in front.
