A classical beret knit in the round. It uses only stockinette stitch and k2, p2 ribbing. I added a matching pair of fingerless mittens as well as a neck warmer.
The set was originally knit in Silky Flammé but the photos weren’t used at the time. I’ve reworked the set in Luscious Llama but the old photos were so cool I wanted to use them anyway. The only difference between the sets is the amount of yarn used.

Needles:
Short circular US size 8 and 9 / 5.5 and 6 mm for the beret
(or long circular for magic loop technique)
A set of double-pointed needles US size 9 / 5.5 mm
