In the fall, as temperatures cool and food becomes scarcer, these enormous mammals dig dens in the sides of hills in which to hibernate.

This Grizzly Bear pattern begins at the neckline and uses raglan shaping to create the shoulders and upper torso. Stitches for the arms are set aside to work after the body.

Work proceeds down into the legs and paws; and finally, the head is created by picking up stitches around the neckline. The finished project will stand about 13” tall and be 6” wide.
