CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is worked from the top down.
The first part of the yoke is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch while the neckline is being shaped. Then the work is joined in the round and the second part of the yoke is
worked in the round in stranded, charted
patterns and stockinette stitch. The pattern for the entire sweater is worked alternately in color B and color C, while the main color is color A throughout.
The work is divided for body and sleeves at the bottom of the armholes, and each part is worked in pattern and finished separately. Both hem, cuffs and neck edge are finished with folded edges.
Please note that the beginning of the round changes throughout the work, as the patterns are placed so they center around the middle 3 stitches of the front to create symmetry.
The order of the colors worked in the charted pattern changes throughout the work, so the order of the colors described in the charts may be different from the describtion in the pattern.
Please also note that the long floats of yarn that run on the wrong side of the work in the pattern sections need to be very even, as the sweater is designed to be reversible.
