Gwenevere
The inspiration for this design came from the yarn, Shibui Staccato and Silk Cloud. It is such a beautiful shade of green, it makes me think of a woodsy forest during the time of Camelot. So a cardigan named Gwenevere with leaves seemed appropriate. The cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece beginning with a rounded yoke that has leaves on a purl background. Raglan increases are worked to shape the bodice. There is short rows across the back so that the front neckline hangs a little lower than the back neckline. And there is waist shaping. The body of the cardigan is worked in Stockinette Stitch with a leaf border at the bottom followed by a ribbed band. The button bands and the neckline are worked with a vertical rib from picked up stitches. The arms have the same leaf border and ribbing as the bottom of the sweater. This yarn is a dream to work with and wear. It has a lovely drape and I love the way the halo from silk cloud softens the leaves. This is definitely a go to cardigan for cooler days ahead.

Notes:
This rounded yoke cardigan is constructed from the top down in one piece with raglan increases to shape the bodice. To create a flattering fit there are short rows to shape the back neckline higher than the front and waist shaping. This cardigan is designed to be form fitting. If you desire a looser fit work one size bigger or leave out some of the waist shaping. If you change the waist shaping make sure you have the correct amount of sts for the leaf border (multiple of 12 sts + 3).
Errata:
Under Sleeve section right after you start the sleeves the Next Rnd should be as follows:
Next Rnd: K2 (1, 1, 2, 2, 1, 4, 4, 6), k2tog, knit to last 4 (4, 3, 5, 4, 4, 6, 6, 8) sts, ssk, k to end.
And the number for the repeats of the Dec Rnds and even Rnds should be as follows:
Dec Rnd: K1, k2tog, knit to last 2 sts, ssk. Repeat these 11 (9, 7, 6, 8, 6, 5, 5, 4) rnds 7 (9, 12, 14, 11, 14, 18, 20, 24) more times. 37 (37, 36, 37, 49, 49, 48, 49, 49) Sleeve sts. Work 3 (6, 7, 9, 3, 11, 7, 2, 8) rnds even.
