Haersterveer
Het Haersterveer is het laatste hand getrokken kabelpontje van Nederland. Dit pontje over de Overijsselse Vecht is misschien wel het leukste pontje van Nederland. Het is een tijd uit de vaart geweest (tot 1978) maar wordt nu geëxploiteerd door een 12 tal vrijwilligers waardoor een toeristisch rondje langs de Vecht mogelijk is. De pont vervoert wandelaars en fietsers. Het pontje vaart alleen in het zomerseizoen (1 mei – 1 okt van 10 – 19 uur) en verbindt Zwolle/ Agnietenberg met het buurtschap Haerst. Aan de Zwolse kant vind je een enorme bel waarmee je de pontbaas kunt laten weten dat je wilt oversteken. (fietsknoop punt 67-69) Bron: De Agnietenberg zwolle.

Dit sjaalontwerp is een idee wat ontstond tijdens één van mijn vrijwilligers diensten op het Haersterveer.
Het kabbelende water, de roestige traanplaat de bodem van het veer en de natuur om me heen, weerspiegeld in deze sjaal.
Met de fiets, het veer en de mensen (en soms een hond) die de oversteek maken aan de binnenzijde van de sjaal.

De sjaal is gebreid met Ullcentrum 2 ply sport weight 6/2 garen in 2 verlopende kleuren.

Haersterferry
The Haersterferry is the last hand pulled cable ferry from the Netherlands. This ferry over the Overijsselse Vecht is perhaps the nicest ferry in the Netherlands. It has been out of service for a while (until 1978) but is now operated by about 12 volunteers making a tourist tour along the Vecht possible. The ferry transports walkers and cyclists. The ferry sails only in the summer season (1 May – 1 Oct from 10 – 19 hours) and connects Zwolle/ Agnietenberg with the haerst neighbourhood. This scarf design is an idea that arose during one of my volunteer services at the Haersterferry.
The rippling water, the rusty tear plate at the bottom of the boat and the nature around me, reflected in this scarf.
With the bike, the ferry and the people (and sometimes a dog) who make the crossing on the inside of the scarf.
The scarf is knitted with Ullcentrum 2 ply sport weight 6/2 yarn in 2 gradient colors.
