Size
Finished Dimensions:
Circumference at lower edge: 28 ½” / 72.5cm
Circumference at top edge: 20 ¾”/ 52.5cm
Depth at front: 9 ¼” / 23.5cm
Depth at back: 7” / 18cm
Note: These are approximate dimensions. There is a lot of give to the garter stitch fabric so finished dimensions will be dependent on how aggressively the cowl is blocked.

Needles
US 9 / 5.5mm circular needle, 60cm / 24” length (for cast on)
US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 60cm / 24” length (for lower portion of cowl)
US 8 / 5mm circular needle, 40cm / 16” length (for upper portion of cowl)
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Fingering weight yarn in the following amounts:
MC: 90 yds / 82m
CC1: 20 yds / 18m
CC2: 45 yds / 41m
