Harbourside Shawl

An elongated crescent shape shawl inspired by the Bristol Harbourside. A vibrant and bustling area of the city I live in, where there are lots of boats and historic features. The shawl is created using a selection of techniques and textures making it fun to knit and wear.
Yarn Requirements: 250 g of fingering weight yarn (1000 m);
Sample used 2 skeins of Birdstreet Yarn Farrell 85/15 SW Merino and Donegal Nep in the colourway Ship Shape.
Needles: 3.5 mm circular needle long enough to accommodate all the stitches
Notions: tapestry needle to sew in ends; markers if required
Gauge: 22 sts and 34 rows to 10 cm/4” over stocking stitch.
Measurements: 175 cm/70” Wingspan x 50 cm/20” Depth
