The sweater is inspired by the chilly days of fall and sitting on the porch with a mug of hot chocolate. The center cable pattern is simple to learn, but gives an irresistible texture to what will become your favorite new autumn sweater.

This sweater is worked top-down, first flat until the underarm, and then joined and worked in the round until the split above the hip, then pieces are worked flat again with the back piece slightly longer than the front. The sleeves and collar are worked after the shoulders are seamed.
