Suggested yarn:
The US distributor of Jamieson’s of Shetland, Simply Shetland, is putting together door prize kits for a Portland, OR yarn crawl using Jamiesons’ wonderful “Double Knitting” yarn and this donated pattern of mine. The Dale Falk yarn I originally used for them was discontinued, but I’ve always particularly liked this pattern, so it was a great opportunity to rework a tried-and-true, unisex design with nearly limitless two-color possibilities in a tried-and-true yarn with an incredible range of colors. Thanks to the beautiful heathered nature of Jamiesons’ DK, they turned out even better than ever!

I used one 25g ball of Double Knitting for the lighter color and two 25g balls of Double Knitting for the darker colors. If you’re not lucky enough to be part of the Rose City Yarn Crawl, yarn packs are also available for purchase through my website here.

The original Dale yarn requirements were: 2 different colored 50-g balls (1 light, 1 dark) in EITHER:
Dale of Norway Heilo 100% Norwegian wool sport weight yarn, OR
Dale of Norway Falk 100% superwash wool sport weight yarn.
A = background color (lighter shade in sample = Pewter 6031)
B = motif color (darker shade in sample = Steel Grey 5762)
