Helen of Troy is based on two contrasting yarns in fingering weight. You can use two solids or semi solids, one solid or semi solid combined with a color gradient or two color gradients. I used Crystal Palace Mini Mochi and Mochi Solid with one model and two different Mini Mochis for the other. You will need 3 balls of each color. However, if you are using a yarn with a color gradient it is wise to have a fourth ball handy so you won’t have to join the next ball at a different stage in the gradient.

The general structure of the Helen of Troy scarf is modular. No seaming is involved since you will join the modules as you knit. You will find photo tutorials on how to join them at the end of the pattern along with other photo tutorials on the various techniques required to knit Helen of Troy.

All instructions for all modules are presented in written and charted form. You will also find graphics to guide you through the knitting process.

Happy knitting!
