Staying at home with my family, trying to make the best out of it! Hope you enjoy my new pattern - use code: “behutsam” at Ravelry checkout to get 50% off this pattern and all my self published brioche patterns from today to March 31st !
A hat is always a perfect possibility to try a new pattern idea. Although I have had two projects on my needles already, this pattern just felt irresistible, which is why I would like to share it with you!
This pattern actually came up by coincidence, but I am more than happy how it worked out! When I get to the crown I never really have plan, it’s always a big surprise!
The hat has no brim, is very stretchy, slightly slouchy and well-fitting at the same time. The pattern has only three (!) repeating pattern rows and is based on basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases. It’s important to note that there is a 4-stitch-decrease to be knit for the crown. You can do it, knitters!
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown.
