Here Comes the Sun celebrates stars and beyond. For the 4-color version each pattern represents a layer of our host star’s interior structure; the 3-color version imagines the appearance and interior of a black hole.

Both versions result in a semicircular color work shawl featuring slip stitch, mosaic, textured, and lace patterns using either three or four colors of fingering weight yarn.

Written and charted instructions are provided for all patterns.

This shawl is worked from the top down beginning with an I-Cord cast on.

Stitch counts are shown throughout the pattern, sometimes line-by-line, and other times at the start and finish of a section. All stitch counts include three extra stitches at each outside edge for the I-Cord. Ensure that you have the correct stitch count before beginning a new section.
