The Herringbone Twill Cowl makes use of a simple knit/purl texture to create an elegant, timeless accessory. Easy enough for an adventurous beginner, it will also hold the attention of more experienced knitters. I have included some of my favorite cowl knitting (and pattern designing) tips, as well as charted and written instructions. The stitch pattern in this design is a modified herringbone pattern, which is highlighted beautifully by Berroco Ultra Alpaca Natural. Berroco offers 7 undeyed shades of Ultra Alpaca Natural, or you can choose from the 72 colors of Ultra Alpaca. Worn under a jacket or over your outfit, this cowl is sure to become a comfortable and stylish staple to your wardrobe.
