This is a classical triangular shawl worked from the top down. I called it Herzlein (“little hearts“ in German) because I wanted to create a new type of heart-shaped bobbles which display variegated yarns to their best advantage. If you like experimenting with dyeing yarn, this shawl can give you a nice opportunity to present your colourful experiments in the best possible way. And for those of us who love to buy the most colourful skeins of yarn, this simple but sophisticated design lets us make the most of it and therefore give us an excuse to buy more yarn, the more colours the better
