A dainty, vintage lace stitch (which reminds me of a prayer shawl) brings an air of femininity to this unconventional buttoned wrap. Hibernate can be worn over the shoulders, partially buttoned, or even as a wide, loose cowl.

Hibernate begins with a ribbed band, followed by an increase row just before you begin the lace. It’s knit side to side and finished with a row of decreases, then ribbing and button holes. By buttoning the wrap in different formations you can increase the versatility of this unique piece.
