The Shape of Things is a five piece collection that is inspired loosely by geometry and quilts, lines and boundaries, and most of all, color. Jamieson’s is certainly known for their wide array of colors, so I have no doubt that you’ll be able to find an assortment that pleases your senses.

This piece begins flat at the top, and is eventually joined to work in the round for the lower portion. First, a square is knit for the top of the head. Then, stitches are picked up along the sides of the square and the hood is knit downward. Finally, center of face stitches are cast on and the remainder of the piece is knit downward in the

round.

When changing between contrast colors in the charted portion of the pattern, I recommend using the felted join which will leave you with very few ends to weave in at the end of the pattern. This yarn is perfect for a felted join.
