As the autumn nights are drawing in, it has become apparent in our household that our hot water bottles need updating! My daughter set me to task with an urgent cover for hers, so I jumped in to action and came up with this jolly design, which is super fast to make and super practical to use. It is completely seamless, so no bulky edges to catch your toes on and the yarn is bright and cheerful - there’s something about this particular shade which makes me feel warm just looking at it - it reminds me of embers! I worked a provisional cast on and then parallel bind-off to finish, but the pattern would work equally well with Judy’s magic cast-on and the magic loop method, or with a Kitchener stitch grafted lower edge - whichever works best for you! I already have another to order for these, so more photos will be uploaded soon. Happy knitting!
